Appraisal work is confidential. Here is what happens to what you send.

• Every request is redacted for common identifiers before drafting: the subject address, loan, order and file numbers, and borrower names. You'll see what was removed, and it's put back in the draft you receive.
• Redaction can miss a name that isn't labelled, so please still remove borrower names, subject addresses and loan numbers before sending.
• The form on the home page doesn't upload anything. It opens an email in your own mail app, which you send.
• What you send is used only to write your draft. It's processed by Claude through Anthropic's API, under commercial terms that don't allow it to be used to train models. One person reads it to check the draft.
• We delete your request and the draft within 7 days of sending the draft, unless you ask us to keep the reply in your library.
• We never share or sell what you send, and never contact your clients.
• If we emailed you, it was because your business email is published on your own website. Reply "remove" and you'll never hear from us again.

Terms, in plain words.

• Stip provides draft correspondence only. It does not provide appraisals, appraisal reviews, valuation opinions, or legal or compliance advice.
• You're responsible for reviewing, editing and approving every draft before you use it, and for your compliance with USPAP, state law and your clients' requirements.
• Don't submit information you aren't permitted to share. Remove borrower identifiers before sending.
• The free draft is one per appraiser.
• Membership is $29 a month, billed monthly through Stripe until you cancel. Cancel any time; you won't be charged again and can keep sending requests until the end of the paid month. The $29 price holds for as long as your membership continues.
• We may stop offering the service. If we do, we'll refund the unused part of your current month.
